According to the KYA, the total amount of all the main pensions of the e-EFKA increases with the start of payment until December 31, 2023

Pensioners will see a 3% pension increase from January 1, 2024, according to the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision signed today.

According to the KYA, the total amount of all the main e-EFKA pensions with the start of payment until December 31, 2023 increases from 1.1.2024 by 3%.

In particular, according to the circular, the following amounts will increase from the 1st of the year:

  • The national pension. The national pension, which until 31.12.2023 amounted to €413.76, increases from 1.1.2024 to €426.17.
  • The upper limit of main and auxiliary pension. The upper limit for main pensions, which until 31.12.2023 amounted to €4,965.12, increases from 1.1.2024 automatically to €5,114.04. The upper limit for supplementary pensions, which until 31.12.2023 amounted to €1,489.54, increases from 1.1.2024 automatically to €1,534.21.
  • The minimum pension limit due to death and the minimum pension limit due to occupational accident or occupational disease. The minimum pension due to death (widow and orphans), which until 31.12.2023 amounted to €387.90, increases from 1.1.2024 automatically to €399.54.
  • Basic Syntax of OGA. The basic pension of Fr. OGA, which until 31.12.2023 amounted to €387.90, from 1.1.2024 increases to €399.54.
  • New pensioners from 01.01.2024. Old-age, disability and death pensioners will also receive pensionable earnings increased by the rate of inflation and, consequently, an increased pension with payment starting from 1.1.2024. In this way, the state ensures that pensioners are treated equally and their incomes are guaranteed after retirement, whenever and if they apply.
