Increased from 20 to 50 euros depending on the number of children
By Wednesday, January 31, OPECA is expected to pay all the beneficiaries of the child benefit, who have submitted the A21 application by January 15.
In fact, as has become known, the beneficiaries will retroactively receive the amount of the extraordinary subsidy of the Solidarity Allowance, which corresponds to one and a half installments. The online platform A21–Child Benefit was available until January 15 for the submission of an application by the beneficiaries who had not submitted an A21 application for the year 2023 and for those citizens who started the creation of an A21 application, but did not submit it definitively.
It is reminded that from January 1, 2024, the increase in the child allowance applies as follows:
– For a child from 50 euros it will rise to 70 euros.
– For two children from 70 euros it will increase to 120 euros.
– For three children it will be 170 euros, up from 120 euros.
– For four children or more, beneficiaries will receive 220 euros from 170 euros.
