What applies to subsidies
At public expenditure of € 150 million immediately begins the strengthening program of the greenhouse crop.
The Ministerial Decision to determine a framework for implementing the intervention P3-73-2.9 “Investments for the Modernization and Construction of Greenhouse and Advanced Crystalion of Crop Production” for investment in greenhouses, networks and mushrooms, signed by Costas, Resources and Infrastructure, Dimitris Papayannidis, and the publication of the invitation of interest will be followed in the coming period.
As YPATA, Costas Tsiaras, said, “the aim of the intervention is to invest in the establishment and modernization of greenhouse, with the aim of modernizing horticultural cultivation while simultaneously shifting to cultivation practices of higher value -added and producing productivity.”
Applications submitted by natural persons registered with the register of farmers and farms, as well as by legal entities and collective forms of agricultural cooperative law, are eligible.
The budget of the invitation (public expenditure) amounts to 150,000,000 euros and is co -financed by the European Agricultural Fund of Rural Development and Greece. With the call for expressions of interest, the budget will be distributed to the regions of the country.
The requested budget (public expenditure and private participation) of the support applications must be at least 30,000 euros, while the ceilings of the total budget per investment plan and beneficiary will be specialized in the invitation and will not exceed EUR 1,000,000.
The support intensity varies according to the type of expenditure as follows:
1. 60% support intensity in the eligible costs of the following categories:
1.1. Cutting -edge technology equipment within eligible structures.
1.2. Hydrophone/Aviation Systems.
1.3. Pure electric motorcycles (tractors, collection engines, etc.).
2. 50% support intensity in the remaining eligible costs.
3. The support intensity is increased by 10 percentage points, depending on the beneficiary’s seat, provided that the proportion of support does not exceed:
3.1. 70% for beneficiaries whose headquarters are located in the Aegean islands.
3.2. 65% for beneficiaries whose headquarters are located in Thessaly, Evros Evros and the Municipality of Domokos.
3.3. 65% for beneficiaries whose headquarters are in continental areas, included in the territorial drafts of fair development transition (ESDIM).
4. For expenditure incurred by young farmers, regardless of the session of a holding, a 10 percentage point of support is foreseen, with a maximum of 70%.
In the next period, the relevant call for expressions of interest will be issued.
