“We did a casting for both heroines and in the end I was Theodora”, she said about her role in “Samos”
In the show “Happy Day” on Alpha was Danae Pappa on Wednesday and the protagonist of “Sasmus” referred both to the success she has achieved on television in recent years and to the beginning of the journey in the daily serial.
“I never imagined I’d make it this far and I’ve always just kind of gone as each day has taken me. I was trying not to have wild dreams and to put everything in a schedule because in the end they never work out. There’s always something else that can be even better, I think that’s what brought me this far,” the actress said and continued:
“Many times after something is over I say, ‘Ah, how nice that was.’ This happens to me several times and I kind of try, when I get home every night, to sit in bed and think about what I did today. Why am I happy? What would I like to change? I think this helps to start the next day with a clearer mind and more focused.”
As for her role in “Samos”, explained: “Sasmus’ journey is fantastic! We all kind of bonded so much together and this casting that went into this series was magical. So we all matched. At first I had auditioned for the role of Jenny and when I went, the director saw me and said “you are Theodora”. I still didn’t know how they wanted to go with this role and how similar it would be to the book, so we did casting for both heroines and in the end I was Theodora.”
