Completed the first phase of the competition
Completion of the first phase of the bidding process for leasing the property ‘Coast Vouliagmeni“, Which took place today, with the opening of the expression of interest, announced the ETAD.
At the meeting of the competent Competition Committee, folders of interest from seven business groups were filed and unseed, confirming the strong investment interest in this iconic property of the Athenian Riviera.
In particular, the following investment schemes (in alphabetical order) were interesting:

The subject of the competition is the long-term lease of the uniquely available and exploited organized beach in the Municipality of Vari-Voula Vouliagmeni, for 20 years with the right to extend for an additional 10 years. The property occupies a total area of 72,767.71 sqm, with a permissible construction of 2,000 square meters, including existing building facilities, including the former landmark restaurant in the Ocean area, while the maritime front is 638.50 m.
The bidding process takes place in two phases: The first phase, which was completed today, was in an invitation to express interest, followed by the default of investors who will be called upon to participate in Phase B for bids in accordance with the terms of the competition.
The “Vouliagmeni Coast” is the most popular organized and accessible beach of the Athens Riviera, 25 km from the city center, with the natural landscape, crystal clear waters and existing recreational facilities to attract thousands of visitors all year long. In 2024 he welcomed 420,000 visitors, while the daily hospitality was 8,000.
