What TUI Belgium figures show for city destinations – Where does the Greek capital stand?
Eighth most popular city destination for Belgians is Athens, according to the booking trends collected by TUI Belgium for the summer of 2024.
In fact, TUI’s Belgian travelers’ bookings for Athens recorded an increase of 58%. At the same time, it seems that the demand for Paris is developing negatively, due to the rise in hotel prices, due to the Olympic Games, as a result of which a 23% decrease in bookings was recorded, ranking the City of Light in the 7th position of the ranking.
The first city in the preferences of the Belgians is Rome, recording a 10% increase in bookings, followed by New York, with a jump in bookings by 117%. Also impressive is the increase in demand for Vienna (+222%), which was ranked 10th in the Belgians’ preferences for this summer.
