Consumers on continuous hours can change to segmental, but cannot switch back to continuous hours
From tomorrow, November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, the winter schedule for the reduced night electricity tariff will apply, DEDDIE reminds.
The opening hours are:
- 02:00-08:00 and 15:00-17:00, for customers connected to the Network of the Mainland and its interconnected islands.
- 02:00-08:00 and 15:30-17:30, for customers of non-interconnected islands.
For customers on a domestic tariff with a time charge (reduced night) continuous hours, the existing hours of 23:00 to 07:00 apply.
It is noted that the continuous hours (23:00 to 07:00 all year round) no longer apply to new consumers and still only apply to existing consumers. Consumers who have the continuous schedule can change it and receive the segmented schedule if they wish, but they cannot return to the continuous schedule.
