“Costas Genidounias as a trade unionist had shown in a number of cases, even with out -of -court protests to the Ministry of Transport, technical problems and serious staff shortages on the rail network and had warned of the potential dangers that could arise.”
According to the Confederation, as reported by the RES EIA, “his dismissal, which was doordown to his home, without any reason to terminate the contract, is paradoxically a few days after his intention to re -claim the presidency of the drivers.”
“The dismissal of a trade union executive and, indeed, a representative of the administration of a higher education organization, in breach of labor law, creates anger and reflection. The immediate re -recruitment of Kostas Genidounia is the least that this company has to do against society and workers, who have been informed of the May Day on the eve of this fractured energy, ”the Confederation stresses.
