Regions and Municipalities in detail
Tomorrow, Sunday, October 15, the polls open again self-governing elections in the regions and municipalities where in the first round no combination gathered a majority with a percentage greater than 43%.
Out of the total of 13 regions last Sunday, October 8, regional governors were elected in 7, while out of the 332 municipalities of the country, mayors were elected in 248.
Therefore, repeat elections will be held in 6 regions and 84 municipalities. From the regions, Thessaly is at the center of interest, while among the municipalities are that of Athens and 27 other municipalities of Attica, as well as Thessaloniki, Patras and Ioannina, it was noted in APE BPE.
