“It’s never too late” is the title of the program that starts in Thessaloniki and is aimed at women which wish their employment integration. In particular, the “It’s Never Too Late” program, which aims to empower, support and offer new opportunities to 200 women aged 40+ living in Thessaloniki, is implemented by AmKE IASIS in collaboration with Nefeli Hatziioannidou, Member of Parliament of the State of SW and founder of “Wonderful Women”. As Mrs. Hatziioannidou told APE-MBE on the sidelines of the event for the presentation of the program, the goal is labor inclusion of women who have never worked in their life or wish to return to their working life after a long break.

“The selection will be made with vulnerability criteria by IASIS and its scientific team that we set up the program together and it will last 6 months. The participation will be completely free and includes, among other things, networking with the labor market through local businesses” emphasized Mrs. Hatziioannidou. Through the program, educational programs will be offered, psychosocial empowerment aimed at substantially strengthening self-confidence and mental resilience, self-presentation seminars that include resume writing and interview preparation and micro-entrepreneurship courses, with an emphasis on creating and managing a small business.

The campaign will develop a strong network of partnerships with local businesses and organizations, with the aim of connecting participants with employers. At the same time, to combat social isolation, a Social Club will be created, where all women will participate in social and creative activities. Art workshops include activities such as painting, music, and crafts, while city walks can be organized at historic sites or parks, promoting familiarity with the urban environment and physical exercise.
