Ms. Kerameos emphasized that the government’s goal is to reach the minimum wage of 950 euros by 2027, pointing out that “the rise of the minimum wage also drags down the average wages”. It also said that from 2027 the minimum wage will be determined through an algorithm, which will take into account factors such as accuracy.

The minister underlined the reduction of unemployment and announced a new program of 100 million euroswhich is aimed at unemployed people aged 30-59, with the aim of supporting them in setting up their own business. “Greece is recording high growth rates, which makes it a country of significant professional opportunities,” he said.

As for the widow’s pensions, characterized the issue as complex with many legal parameters, clarifying that there are currently no concrete announcements.
