According to the latest information, the perpetrators of the bloody attack are seven, of which six have been identified. Two of them are believed to be the people who have been arrested and will be brought before the public prosecutor today with serious charges. They are two Turks of Kurdish origin, 22 and 26 years old. One is charged as the natural perpetrator and the other as an accomplice.

Both the deceased were also identified in the morning. All of them (perpetrators and victims) came to Greece after the summer and have not concerned the Authorities, according to the Police investigations. Persecuted by the Erdogan regime, they declared themselves supporters of Fethullah Gülen and received temporary asylum.

So the police are looking to identify five more peoplea pistol and of course to identify the seventh person who participated in the bloody episode.

The authorities are talking about settling accounts of the Turkish mafia, while according to information there is a connection with the incident 15 days ago in Agios Panteleimonas, when the authorities stopped a jeep and arrested a Turk of Kurdish origin. They had caught up and dumped their weaponry in a nearby waste bin. There were other people inside that particular jeep.

An eyewitness to the episode spoke to ERT’s “Connections” show:

“Yesterday at about 10:00 I was at the back of the store. I was drinking coffee with a fellow villager and we heard gunshots. Many, 4-5. At first we didn’t understand but we started to go outside. As soon as we reached the middle of the store, on the opposite sidewalk, we saw the victim running and from behind the assailant shooting, continuously shooting until at some point he tripped or some bullet hit him, he fell, got up again, but the assailant continued and fired the bullets non-stop. So, he fell into the pharmacy from outside.”
