The Ministry recognizes the need to create an institutional framework for the prediction of special car parking spaces
According to a positive climate, a meeting was completed by a meeting held at the Ministry of Tourism, with President Elizabeth Michaelidou and members of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Caravan Club, regarding the issue of stationary stance and parking.
During the meeting there was a complete sympathy for the direction of the legislation under Article 27 of Law 5170/2025. It was made clear that this provision allows the attitude and parking of motor vehicles, where and as defined by the Road Traffic Code. There has been a conscience of the enhanced need to shield the protection of public spaces and the natural and cultural environment from their abusive and arbitrary occupation.
Further, following its proposal, the Ministry of Tourism acknowledges the need to create an institutional framework for the provision of special car parking spaces (Camper Stop) and will propose to take the relevant Ministries.
