Michalis Rakintzis: I once liked snails, I also saw how they are made and I stopped eating them – It is genocide

“For many, many years, people ate whatever ingredients were available around them and that’s the healthiest”

On the set of the show “Morning in sight” was found this morning Michalis Rakintzis, who mentioned his long career in music, while he also went to the show’s kitchen with the presenters, to taste the food prepared by Gogo Delogianni.

However, following different rhythms in his daily life, Michalis Rakintzis refused to eat the salad with beans and tuna, since for him it is too early in the morning for such a thing.

“It’s too early in the morning for you to eat tuna,” Fotis Sergoulopoulos told him, with the singer replying: “I’ll drink coffee, I’ll start shortly and I’ll eat in the late afternoon. I definitely like it.”

After the conversation, Michalis Rakintzis revealed the reason why he never ate again in his life snails.

“I used to like snails, the way my mother used to make them, they were fantastic. Then I started to regret them. I also saw how they make them and stopped eating them. It’s genocide,” the singer said characteristically on the ERT morning show.

“For many, many years, people ate whatever ingredients they had from the area around them and that’s the healthiest, because the food you eat has to be combined with your DNA and the area you were born. You can’t eat something that came from Venezuela, let’s say. It also has a huge environmental impact. Nor are the same drugs prescribed in Greece as in South Africa, for example. DNA is different”, Michalis Rakintzis continued in his statement, with Gogo Delogianni confirming his words.
