Pygmalionas Dadakaridis spoke on the show “Happy Day” about the karmic reason he chose to star in and direct this year’s movie hit “Whale” in the theater.
“I feel very happy, because what I dreamed somehow touched people’s souls a little. My best friend and I went to see “The Whale” and when the movie ended he said to me “it would be nice if you could do something like that in the theater”. At the same time, I did some classes for professionals and non-actors, and the children who had seen the film told me that it would be nice to try something like that,” said Pygmalion Dadakaridis.
“At the beginning of May, the producer called me and told me that he wants us to make “Whale”. I took it a little too seriously, because at that time I was buying a present for my godmother… It took me two and a half hours to answer positively and I also made the brave decision to direct the show. It is very difficult to direct myself…” he continued.
Pygmalion Dadakarides, answering a related question, said that “we all have a whale in our lives. For me, this show brought out my father, many things that the show deals with, are a part of Mr. Leonidas, always positive, not negative. The relationship with my father is very important. My father, my mother, and my other mother, my father’s second wife, my family is the most important thing, I don’t think there will be anything more important, maybe if I have a child it will be the child”. “When I saw the film, I identified with the negotiation of people who can do anything for love. I understand that the Mesovetian things exist, but I never recognized them in myself,” said the beloved actor at another point.
