The report was made by Sakis Tanimanidis and Giorgos Mavridis on how they made the decision to reunite with “Reunion”. The two friends, after the rift in their relationship, put their differences behind them and embarked on this magical journey together with their first stop, Uganda, ending with the best memories despite all the suffering.
“It’s our first trip after 7 years. We didn’t know if we would be able to go back and do the same havale. So much has changed in our lives, but in the end it feels like nothing has changed. We do the same shit, we act like teenagers. We have the same nonsense, we men just get taller, we never grow” said Giorgos Mavridis.
“The Reunion started as an idea when we started talking again with George after a long period of silence. It was a foregone conclusion that, since we have the germ in us, we would talk about the trip again. The plan came true and we are together again. I was a bit nervous at first about how this would all work, we don’t have the same relationship we had with Giorgos 10 years ago, we had been talking for a long time, but in just a few days we have already drifted apart. We’ve already started fooling around like we used to. Surely with friction and travel this will become even stronger” noted Sakis Tanimanidis from his side.
