The Ministry of Defense and its Federal Armed Forces Germany “freeze” their accounts in platform “X”as “the exchange of arguments becomes more and more difficult there”.
As the ministry points out in its announcement, the platforms WhatsApp, Instagram and You Tube will be used from now on, as well as the website of the ministry and the Bundeswehr. The Ministry of Defense also clarifies that it does not remove its accounts on “X”, but reserves the right in exceptional cases to be placed through “X”, especially in cases of a disinformation campaign, APE BEE reported.
Among others, 60 university institutions, the unions Ver.di and GEW, and the Federal Court announced their exit from “X”.
