Increase 11.4% in the first quarter of 2025
Passenger traffic at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport is on the rise, recording an increase of 10.8% last March, reaching 2.22 million passengers.
According to data from Athens International Airport, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded 2024 levels by 2.1% and 14.4%, respectively. Overall, in the first three months of 2025, the airport traffic reached 5.81 million passengers, up 11.4%. Passenger traffic, both domestic and abroad, increased by 3.1% and 15%, respectively.
Flights increased by 9.3% in the first three months this year compared to 2024. The number of flights to Athens International Airport during the first three months of the year stood at 50,651, recording an increase of 9.3% compared to 2024. 16.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
