The General Price Index closed at 1,506.83 points, gaining 0.24%

The stock market closed today’s session with a slight increase. From the high capitalization, the shares of Eurobank and Coca Cola HBC gave support to the market.

The General Price Index closed at 1,506.83 points, marking an increase of 0.24%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,509.62 units (+0.43%).

The value of transactions amounted to 117.71 million. euros, while 26,645,460 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.25%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.31%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+1.79%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.68%) and National Bank (+0.39%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (-1.58%), Sarantis (-1.47%) and Aegean (-1.46%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 9,357,259 and 4,7098,977 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Eurobank with 22.09 million. euros and the National with 17.87 million euro.

32 stocks moved up, 65 down and 28 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: OLTH (+3.90%) and Bank of Cyprus (+3.54%).

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Chaidemenos (-8.33%) and Frigoglass (-4.46%).
