As announced by ODDIX, in the auction of 26-week interest-bearing notes, amounting to 625 million euros, the yield was 3.77% against 3.87% that had been formed in the December auction. Total bids of €1.110 billion were submitted, which exceeded the asking amount by 1.78 times.

The auction was conducted through Primary Dealers, and the settlement date is Friday, January 26, 2024. Bids up to the auction amount were accepted, as well as non-competitive bids of €187.5 million. No additional non-competitive bids will be accepted on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

It is recalled that in parallel with the auction, the Greek State provides the possibility for natural persons (private individuals) to purchase the securities in question through a public registration in any Bank or Stockbroking Company, with a maximum nominal value for each natural person of 15,000 Euros. The disposal price will be the price of the last bid accepted at the auction (cut-off price). The total amount of securities to be allocated through this process will be announced after the completion of the public registration.

Registration period: From Tuesday 23 January 2024 to Thursday 25 January 2024.

A necessary condition for the purchase of the securities is their registration in a portion of the SAT. The process of opening such a portion is done through the above distribution agencies, with the necessary supporting documents, the Police ID and the VAT number.

It is noted that both natural and legal persons can purchase government securities (Government Notes or Bonds) through Banks and Brokerage Companies, in accordance with existing normal procedures.
