The actor stressed that he was “concerned” by the treatment he received from doctors and police after a car accident, when they found out who he is
He talked about how he and his family came from Argyrokastro and how he established himself in Greece, about his participation in the series “The Curse of Gelas Delafraga” and the programming of the channels and about the car accident he had with the motorcycle and the small adventure he had, he spoke on the show “Studio 4” by Yiannis Apergis.
“I remember everything. I have a good memory. We came from Argyrokastro in Athens. There are children who come from other countries or are now learning Greek, so it is good for them to hear some things. I wanted to go back to being 5 years old. I have very nice memories of my grandfather” said Yiannis Apergis, who referred to the best memory he has with his grandfather.
“My mother has brainwashed me into everything. Not the mother who keeps the son away and makes him mummies. It has brainwashed me about how I should treat women and society. Now I feel and am Greek and anyone who doubts that will be wrong, because I think in Greek. I am very proud of my ancestry, because if I renounce it, I renounce my grandfather, my grandmother and their history. No one should deny their story,” said the actor.
Referring to his career, he said that “filming for the series ‘The Curse of Jella Delafraga’ is over.” It’s all over. We are now seeing if the channel wants a second season, but the programs that the channels are doing, I don’t like them. Let’s “lock” somewhere, my child, let’s fix our world”, said Yiannis Apergis and then he became more specific: “As was done with “This night stays”. Referring to the traffic accident he had, he said: “I was getting off at Michalakopoulou after a photoshoot for a magazine with Katerina Geronikolou – as I was leaving to see my children – and a valet driver came out straight on. He entered the half lane that was on the edge and exited very awkwardly. Then I realized, the man didn’t know how to drive. He was scared and came to the hospital. At the last moment I hit the brakes and the engine tilted on the car” said Yiannis Apergis.
“I was wearing a boot and it sandwiched my foot. The boot saved my leg, wearing the right clothes matters. The bump hurts more than the stitches. I jumped in the air and hit the shoulder as well. It had stopped tearing just before the tendons,” said the actor. He ended by saying that “I was worried that even at the hospital and the traffic police saw who I was, because someone took my phone. There was another treatment, which worries you a little. The doctors themselves took me to the hospital. I wish they would do the same to others. I’m not saying it’s bad,” he concluded.
