An increase compared to the corresponding month in 2022
Arrivals at the country’s tourist accommodation reached 936,081 last November and overnight stays at 2,173,551, marking an increase compared to the corresponding month of 2022, by 8% in arrivals and by 10.5% in overnight stays.
Also according to ELSTAT data, there was an increase in the arrivals and overnight stays of foreigners by 8.1% and 12.4%, respectively, as well as an increase in the arrivals and overnight stays of nationals by 7.9% and 8.7% , respectively.
A greater contribution to arrivals and overnight stays in total accommodation was observed by nationals with 56.5% and 51.1%, respectively. Whereas, the average total overnight stay amounted to 2.3 days.
