Panic prevailed in the emergency room of the Lamia hospital
A fierce fight took place on Wednesday night (16/10) at Domoko prisonsresulting in seven inmates being injured.
Two of the injured are being treated at Lamia General Hospital, with one reportedly in a serious condition.
The bloody clash between prisoners occurred between Albanian and Pakistani Baripoinites, the causes of which are still unknown.
As it conveys the lamiareport.grin the area where the emergency rooms of the Lamia hospital are temporarily housed, panic prevailed, as it was filled with injured people, one of them very seriously.
The incident took place in a wing of the ground floor of the Detention Center between foreigners, Albanians and Pakistanis, and as a result, a 32-year-old Pakistani man was seriously injured in the body and head. This guy had a knife in his abdomen.
The other six people who were taken to the Lamia hospital, had bruises on various parts of their bodies and some of them had marks from a sharp object.
Another 30-year-old Pakistani remained for treatment in the specially designed ward-cell of the Lamia general hospital.
The competent Prosecutor of First Instance of Lamia was informed about the incident, while a relevant case file was filed.
