“I didn’t like our song last year. And Marina disappointed me. Behavior also plays a role”

Elpida talked about the experience from Eurovision in 1979, but also about the competition in general and what she expects from Greece on the show “Akoma den Ides Tipota”. The Greek national final for the Eurovision 2025 has now reached its final stretch, as the twelve artists who will compete to represent the country in the 69th Song Contest have already been officially announced.

The Greek final for Eurovision 2025 will take place on January 30, live from the Christmas Theater in Athens. The presentation of the evening will be undertaken by two of the most beloved figures of the Greek music scene, Elena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas.

“The song ‘Socrates you are a superstar’ came out of the national final. Earlier I had sent ‘Discotek’ but they rejected it and in 1982 we also sent a song with Stamatis Kraunakis. With Cyprus after when I went, it didn’t go well. The song was bad,” she said Hope.

Referring to this year’s entries, the beloved singer said: “I like Ageri’s “Gi mou”. It has a Greek verse and has something that touches the soul. And Evangelia has a very nice voice. We have good things. I also believe in Odyssey a lot.”

In relation to last year’s song and her participation Marina Satti, he said: “I didn’t like our song last year. And Marina disappointed me. Behavior also plays a role. You carry all the Greeks. I felt snobbery. They must respect the world behind us.”

The favorites according to the bets

According to the betting estimates so far, Claudia’s piece Asteromata is the best to represent us in the competition.

Claudia is followed by Evangelia with the song Vale, Barbz with Sirens and the band Dinamiss with the song Odyssey.

It is noted that the winner for Eurovision 2025 will be chosen through the voting of two committees (national and international), which will determine the result by 50% and by the voting of the public (the remaining 50%).
