The phenomena will spread almost throughout the country
The rainy scene will remain on weather conditions in Greece until Saturday will persist. In fact, the phenomena will now extend to almost the entire country, while the gradual prevalence in the north will bring a temporary, but extremely wintry profile to Saturday’s weather. From Sunday, the temperature will go back up, according to her meteorologist ERT Nicoleta Ziakopoulou.
In more detail, on Thursday we expect increased clouds with local rains and passing storms, mainly in the west and the Aegean. Winds southerly and gradually westerly up to 6 Beaufort. The temperature at noon will reach 14 degrees in the north, up to 21 in the rest, up to 24 only in the southern Aegean.
In Attica we expect brief showers, possibly a thunderstorm. Southerly winds up to 4 Beaufort. The temperature from 14 to 21 degrees.
In Thessaloniki we will have passing rains. The winds are weak. The temperature from 10 to 14 degrees.
On Friday we expect a lot of rain, local storms and snow in the mountains. Winds gradually northerly to 7 Beaufort, temperature will drop in the north.
