Increased by 9.7% compared to last year in September
Passenger traffic at Athens Airport increased by 9.7% during September compared to September 2023 levels.
In particular, its passenger traffic Athens airport during September 2024 it reached 3.30 million. Both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded by 4.0% and 12.3% the respective figures of last year.
Overall, during the first nine months of the year, the airport’s traffic reached 24.56 million passengers, an increase of 13.3%. Passenger traffic, both domestic and international, showed an increase of 7.3% and 16.0% respectively.
Flights
The number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first nine months of 2024 reached 207,744, recording an increase of 11.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2023. Both domestic and international flights increased by 5.2% and 16.6% compared to 2023.
