Extended until April 15 2028
Approved today by the extraordinary general meeting of its shareholders PPC by a majority of over 93% The renewal of the term of the company’s president and chief executive, George Stassis For the next three years, as well as the expansion of the company to new business activities beyond the energy sector.
In particular, the term of office of Mr. Stassis and 8 other members of the Board of Directors, which ended gradually in the coming months, is extended until April 15, 2028.
In relation to new PPC activities, they include:
- The storage of electricity with batteries and pumping stations, already included in the PPC business plan and the recently announced western Macedonian development plan.
- Providing energy saving services, energy inspections and controls.
- Providing entertainment, multimedia and live streaming services, as well as the development, installation and management of smart cities and lighting applications.
“The modifications reinforce, reflect and indicate the conversion of PPC to a private sector company, head of a multifaceted and large multinational group, operating, immediately or indirectly, in many individual markets, beyond this action,” said the recommendation.
