At 10:30 on the morning of Wednesday, February 7, the bell rang for the listing of the shares of Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” on the Greek stock exchange in the presence of the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakisof the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Chr. Staikuraof the CEO of El. Venizelos, Giannis Parashisof the CEO of A.A. Yannou Kontopoulosof Ms. Elmina Kopelouzou and other representatives.

The listing on the Athens Stock Exchange of AIA is the largest initial public offering (in terms of total proceeds) in Greece in the last 15-plus years, and marks an important milestone for Athens International Airport SA, the country and the domestic capital market. .
The recent IPO attracted bids in excess of €8 billionexceeding the requested amount by 12 times. The proceeds of the public offering amounted to 784.7 million euros.
