On her birthday
Taylor Swift announced that the film of the ‘Eras Tour’ will be released on the streaming platform on her birthday, December 13th, and that, fans hope, will include songs from the tour that are not in the version of the film shown in theaters.
“So basically, my birthday is coming up and I thought a fun way to celebrate our year together would be to make ‘The Eras Tour’ concert film available for you to watch at home!” the pop star wrote on her social media accounts.
“Very happy to tell you that the extended version of the film including the songs ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’ will be available for streaming in the US, Canada and other countries to be announced starting in … guess what, December 13.”
The announcement came the morning after the Taylor Swift performed the last date of her 2023 tour on Sunday night in Brazil, it was highlighted in APE BPE.
Fans hoping for an announcement at the concert even chanted the title “Reputation” at her performance in Brazil in hopes of getting a revelation that “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” might be out soon. Any disappointment along these lines is now being compensated for by Swifties with the news that they can watch the “Eras Tour” endlessly at home during the Christmas break.
