In November the debate at Ecofin
Filed today, in accordance with the prescribed deadlines, the Medium Term Fiscal– Structural Plan 2025-2028 (Draft Budgetary Plan- DBP) from the General Accounting Office of the State to the European Commission and is to be discussed in November at Ecofin.
According to the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the DBP confirms the fiscal figures for the years 2024 and 2025 as reflected in the draft budget 2025 submitted on October 7 to the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the Parliament. In this way, it is confirmed, also in terms of the international community, that the goal of maintaining primary expenses within the limits set in the Medium-Term Financial-Structural Plan 2025-2028 is feasible.
At the same time, the DBP includes all the fiscal measures as announced in the previous period and reflected in the draft budget 2025, while the implemented reforms that are in line with European priorities are listed in detail.
Even in the DBP, as a result of the government’s new fiscal measures, the reduction of both poverty indicators and the reduction of relative inequality indicators is recorded.
