Passenger traffic at Athens International Airport (AIA) increased by 9% in April 2025 compared to the corresponding period of 2024 as it was 2.71 million against 2.48 million passengers.
According to AIA announcement, both domestic and international passenger traffic, They exceeded 2024 levels by 6.6% and 10.0% respectively.
In total, during the first four months of the year, Airport traffic reached 8.52 million passengerswith a rise of 10.6%. Passenger traffic, both domestic and abroad, increased by 4.1% and 13.3% respectively.
The number of flights to Athens International Airport during the first four months of 2025 amounted to 73,151, recording an increase of 8.5% compared to 2024.
The domestic flights rose to 1.3%, while international flights increased by a significant increase of 13.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
