The turnover reached 105.05 million euros
Stock prices closed down in today’s meeting Stock Exchange, with the market at the close holding 1,350 units, which it had lost intra-sessionally.
The market corrected after three bullish sessions, during which the main stock index gained 1.64% to hit new 10-year highs, after a year-to-date gain of 5.33%.
The General Price Index closed at 1,352.86 points, down 0.67%.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,344.94 points (-1.26%).
The value of transactions amounted to 105.05 million euros, while 24,914,404 shares were traded.
The large-cap index fell 0.87%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.78%.
Of the high capitalization shares, three shares registered an increase, Motor Oil (+0.46%), Autohellas (+0.29%) and Aegean (+0.17%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of OTE (-2.63%), Quest Participations (-2.20%), PPC (-2.00%), Ellactor (-1.61%) and Jumbo (-1.48%).
Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 7,515,842 and 3,352,687 shares, respectively.
The highest transaction value was recorded by Lamda Development with 15.51 million euros and Eurobank with 13.11 million euros.
39 stocks moved up, 71 down and 19 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +9.88% and Doppler +9.15%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Epilectos -9.70% and ELBE -6.15%.
