Where can the allowance be used?
The platform has opened for the submission of applications for the Youth Pass of 150 euros from approximately 200,000 young men and women aged 18 and 19.
The Youth Pass is in the form of a digital debit card which beneficiaries will be able to use in businesses operating in the fields of culture, tourism and transport.

It is noted that Beneficiaries of the Youth Pass are tax residents of Greece, who have turned 18 or 19 within the year preceding the application and submit an application on the platform.
There are no property or income criteria for granting the aid.
The application
- Young people who turned 18 or 19 between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022 can apply on the vouchers.gov.gr platform.
- The application is submitted once and is not resubmitted after the beneficiary turns 19.
- The beneficiary’s entry into the special application takes place after authentication of the beneficiary using the taxisnet codes
- After entering the application, the beneficiary enters in the fields displayed in the system the contact details, and in particular the e-mail address and the mobile phone number, of the credit institution he chooses for the issuance of the digital debit card and requests the issuance of the digital debit card and the credit of the relevant amount. Application to KEP
- The process of issuing the digital debit card can also be carried out through the KEP, by a certified employee, following a relevant request of the natural person – beneficiary, as well as through an authorized representative, based on the Code of Administrative Procedure.
- The employee of K.E.P. enters the special application after being authenticated using the “Public Administration Codes” of G.G.P.S.P.S.D. of the Ministry of Digital Governance, according to the decision of the Minister of State under data 29810 EX 2020 (B’ 4798). The employee then enters in the fields displayed in the system:
a) The Tax Registry Number (TIN) of the natural person,
b) the contact details of the natural person, and in particular the email address and mobile phone number and
c) the credit institution that the natural person chooses, and requests on behalf of the natural person the issuance of the digital debit card and the crediting of the relevant amount.
Strengthening
- An 18-year-old who applies for the Youth Pass this year will receive 150 euros this year and an additional 150 euros in 2024 without having to apply again.
- If, for whatever reason, a young person does not apply when they are 18, they can do so when they turn 19, of course receiving the aid only for the second year and not retroactively.
- Young people will be able to submit their applications either through the digital platform vouchers.gov.gr or through the K.E.P. from Thursday 9 November to Tuesday 5 December, while the aid will have been paid by Sunday 10 December 2023.
- The measure is permanent. From 2024 onwards, the special application will accept the applications of interested parties from April 1st to May 15th of each year. The aid for all beneficiaries will be paid once a year by May 31 of each year.

- Young people can take advantage of the support for tourist accommodation, theater performances or concerts, buying books, taxis, buses, trains, ferry – plane tickets or for the rental of cars or pleasure boats, etc. More specifically, they can use it in:
