How is the application submitted
DBA platform for ‘Social Tourism Program 2025-2026»Open today Wednesday (07/05) enabling interested parties to submit their applications gradually, depending on their last number of VAT, to obtain one of the 300,000 aid checks.
In detail, applications are submitted in accordance with the program defined by the Last digit of the beneficiaries’ VAT ID:
Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8: Those who have the last digit ‘0’
Friday and Saturday, 9th and 10th May: Those who have last digit ‘1’
Sunday and Monday, May 11th and 12th: Those who have the last digit “2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9”
This year the program starts earlier than ever, at June 1 2025and will concern overall 300,000 Vouchers, with a budget of 50 million euros.
The vouchers
The check provided is unique to any beneficiary and beneficiary who can carry out up to 6 Overnights in accommodation from the “Providers Register” of DBA, after consultation with the provider, with a small private participation.
Specifically for the areas Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodesbeneficiaries can enjoy up to 10 nights free of charge; without any private participationwhile for the municipalities of Northern Euboea, Evros and for Thessaly (outside Sporades), Ability reaches 12 free nights.
For the periods of Augustof Christmas (15.12.2025 to 14.01.2026) and Easter (03.04.2026 to 19.04.2026), Sorting rates are increased by 20%.
The increased subsidy is valid throughout the year for accommodation in northern Euboea, Evros and Thessaly (outside Sporades).
In addition to staying in tourist accommodation, Shipping tickets are also subsidizedwith 25%participation. For people with disabilities, tickets are free.
Scoring for parents and disabled
The program provides special scoring for single parent families and people with disabilities, as well as increased scoring for lower income beneficiaries.
Disabled people have the opportunity to participate each year, with the right to attend and zero participation in the ferry tickets. In addition, sanctions will not be imposed unless they use their checks.
For parents, there is an increased scoring for each minor child. Also, those who did not receive checks in previous programs are also scored.
Beneficiary
- Employees with a dependent employment relationship of private law or
- Insured to EEFKA With contributions in favor of the DBA unemployment industry from 01.01.2024 onwards
- Unemployed with at least three months of continuous unemployment At the expiry date of the application deadline
The family income should not exceed 30,000 euroswhile For long -term unemployed (at least 12 months of unemployment), Different income criteria applyas mentioned in the public invitation.
The selection of beneficiaries will be based on the scoring of specific criteria (disabled, single, number of children, income, first time participation in the program) in a transparent and objective manner through the integrated DBA Information System (IIS).
Employees or unemployed may not participate in the program of employees who are subsidized in a social tourism program for the same period or those who (outside the disabled) received a check in the 2024-25 program.
Applications are submitted through the Gov.gr platform. The procedure is: Initial – Work and Insurance – Compensation and Benefits – Social Tourism Programs (DBA).
The supporting documents for the conditions for participation or the scoring are sought on its own motion. In the event of a failure to do so, the supporting documents will be attached to the application.
Applications for providers (tourist accommodation and ferry companies) will be submitted from 7 to 18 May 2025, via Gov.gr, following the course: Initial – Work and Insurance – Compensation and Benefits – Social Tourism Provids.
The previous year’s providers are automatically integrated into the Provider Register, as long as they update their supporting documents.
